Rhinoplasty is a surgery on change of a shape of a nose. It is carried out for the purpose of acquisition of the shape of the nose corresponding to the face features, other structures on the face causing asymmetry. It is possible to eliminate genetic deformations, or those which appeared as a result of a trauma. Usually during rhinoplasty the curvatures in a partition breaking nasal breath are also eliminated, the sizes of nasal conchae are reduced by means of the laser. As a result with restoration of breath is achieved the shape of the nose corresponding to the face of the patient. Rhinoplasty includes disposal of the nose from gibbosity, aside curvature, injuries or omissions which have arisen after surgery, deformations on the tip, roughness under the skin and it also forms the alae of the nose.

How is the surgery performed? It is carried out in an open and closed ways. It takes 1,5-2 hours under a general anesthesia. After completion of the surgery thermal external splints (plaster alternative from modern materials) are fixed on the nose, and silicone splints (tampons alternative) - inside the nose. Before transferring to the ward the patient remains in clinic 1 day for observation.

Rehabilitation: Around eyes ice is imposed, remedies for puffiness are prescribed. It is allowed to drink liquid in 1 hour and to eat food in 3-4 hours after the surgery. In 3-5 days internal splints, and in 1 week – external splints and seams are removed. Usually 70% of puffiness pass within a month, the remained 30% gradually decrease disappear within 8 months - 1 year.

Innovation: The used materials – external splints (plaster alternative) are minimizing hypostases and swellings (use of the piezo-device); use of modern medicines for anesthesia (guarantees fast awakening, doesn't cause nausea).
