   Meso threads have become one of the most  progressive methods of rejuvenation.  Meso threads are made of finest  polydioxanone fibers (PDO) coated with polyglycolic acid. This means that the base of the meso threads contains polylactic acid. The thickness of the meso threads is about 0.1-0.3 mm.
   Installing of meso threads under the skin is called thread lifting. This technology refers to non-suture aesthetic procedures.  Thread lifting was created in South Korea and since 2011 it is in use throughout the world. The main goal of this procedure consists of installing under the skin of special meso threads by means of thin needles forming a clear carcass. The extremely thin needles of specific allow are flexible circularly creating quasi 3D-modelling of face and body contours. Hereof the other name of this procedure follows viz. 3D Thread Lifting or 3D Meso Threads.
   Through the use of thread lifting it is possible to shape significantly the contours of face, neck and body, to smooth wrinkles to a great extend and to lift the face. Meso threads coating with polyglycolic acid allows to form a new collagen and elastin fiber in skin cells.

   The advantages of thread lifting are beyond any doubt:
 - Non-suture procedure;
 - Effectiveness of procedure technique;
 - Minimal operation stitch tracks;
 - Fast healing;
 - Meso threads are not visible though the skin;
 - Absence of allergic reactions;
 - Lack of pain sensation;
 - Compatible with other cosmetic procedures.

   Meso threads are made of totally bio-absorbed material initiating formation of new collagen and elastin. Meso threads are fully compatible with the human body. The absorption period of meso threads is approximately about half a year. Thread lift effect will continue for 1-1.5 years.

   Thread lifting with meso threads as well as any other cosmetic procedure can cause limitations and contraindications:
 - Immune system diseases;
 - Pregnancy and lactation period;
 - Inflammatory processes in the area of the expected procedure;
 - Skin damages of expected thread lifting areas;
 - Problem with blood coagulation, infectious skin lesions;
 - Diabetes; cardiovascular diseases;
 - Recently performed cosmetic procedures - deep peeling, contour plastic;
 - Keloid tissues and their nascency danger ;
 - Oncological diseases;
 - Psychosomatic diseases.

   Depending on the skin health and indications for straightening, the number of meso threads will be highly individualized. The minimum number for around eye area is 10 meso threads.  On average from 10 to 20 meso threads is required for each area.   For contour face lift you may need from 50 to 100 meso threads. The number of meso threads will also vary subject to  the kind of meso threads used. The number of linear meso threads can be more, while the number of required needlelike meso threads can be less. Meso threads for different areas and skin depth are of  different lengths. Anesthetic cream or gel is usually applied to the area of treatment before procedure.
   Thin disposable needles with fixed meso threads are in use for straightening. Such needles are alike in thickness with acupuncture needles. Such needles make the installing of meso threads low-traumatic and do not damage the skin. They are injected into the skin and then removed. Meso threads remain under the skin. The procedure lasts from 30 minutes to 1 hour. The period of straightening  will depend on the skin lifting area and the number of meso threads applied. Finally the another advantage of thread lifting is related to the fact, that  thread lifting actually has not any complicating disorders or adverse effects. That's why it can be performed without breaking of customer's daily ordinary activities.
